The buzz surrounding Quince Orchard linebacker Marcus Newby has been relatively quiet as of late, but while several private-school stars have stolen the headlines the Cougars' middle linebacker has put together quite an impressive offer list. Just last week the All-State defender reached a new threshold with a trio of major offers from the likes of South Carolina, Nebraska and Arizona. Combined with previous verbals from Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Central Florida, Rutgers and N.C. State, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound Newby now holds a solid 10 offers.
