South Carolina's basketball program got some bad news earlier in the week when it discovered that signee Thaddeus Hall, a 6-foot-5 wing from Brooklyn, N.Y., was not as in the clear as first thought when it came gaining admission to school this season. The news left the Gamecocks' six-man recruiting class down to three definites and three maybes.
