TAMPA, Fla. -- Except for backup quarterback Andrew Clifford, who attended high school in Tampa, and perhaps wide receiver Ace Sanders (Bradenton), few South Carolina players are closer to their hometowns than true freshman offensive lineman Cody Waldrop, who graduated from Armwood High School in Seffner, located about 15 miles east of downtown Tampa.
