The Gamecocks are always wary of getting their sixth win and not getting another, as evidenced by what happened in 2007. But the good news is that in 2009, that doesn't seem to be a realistic scenario. There are 11 bowl-eligible teams remaining in the SEC (Vanderbilt was eliminated last week). The 11 are competing for nine definite spots.
