December 28, 2011 South Carolina found out its 2012 football schedule on Wednesday. The SEC finally released its schedule for the 2012 season, which fills in the gaps after it had to re-shuffle due to the addition of new members Texas A&M and Missouri. USC's schedule is: Aug. 30 at Vanderbilt* Sept. 8 EAST CAROLINA Sept. 15 UAB Sept. 22 MISSOURI* Sept. 29 at Kentucky* Oct. 6 GEORGIA* Oct. 13 at LSU* Oct. 20 at Florida* Oct. 27 TENNESSEE* Nov. 3 Bye Week Nov. 10 ARKANSAS* Nov. 17 WOFFORD Nov. 24 at Clemson Home games in CAPS *SEC game The Gamecocks already had scheduled games against UAB (Sept. 15), Wofford (Nov. 17) and Clemson (Nov. 24), with the first two at home and the last on the road. A previously scheduled game, Aug. 30 hosting East Carolina, was moved so the Gamecocks could play Vanderbilt on that Thursday to open the season. A presumed game, having Mississippi State come to Columbia after USC went to Starkville in 2011, was canceled in favor of adding LSU and SEC East opponent Missouri. The Georgia game, always USC's first or second game of the season, was moved to mid-season. The Tennessee game remained on Halloween weekend but the Florida game, usually USC's SEC finale, was moved to October.
