A speedy back with power, Brown was recruited to South Carolina by running backs coach Des Kitchings who was the first to offer Brown a scholarship back in May.

Brown is the second running back commitment to Carolina's 2021 class, joining fellow Georgian Caleb McDowell.

Brown first grabbed the attention of Rivals.com's Chad Simmons in February when he took home the MVP award for running backs at an MVP camp, an event Simmons helps put on each year.

Brown rushed for 1,008 yards in just seven games last season.

He had the biggest game of his career when he rushed for 280 yards and three touchdowns and added five catches for 119 yards and a score against Benedictine.

Brown is considered the No. 83 prospect in the state of Georgia's 2021 class.
