This one lived up to the hype. The Ships started on offense and the Pirate defense quickly forced a 3 and out. The Pirates then took over at mid field and marched down the field for a quick 7-0 lead. The drive was capped off by a 14 yard TD run by Bay Port QB Zac Thelen. It looked like it might be a runaway, but that was not the case at all.

Kaukauna was once again no match for the rushing attack of running back Miles Groeschel and quarterback Tucker Reimer. Reimer also threw the ball six times, completing three passes for 76 yards and a beautiful touchdown pass to Anthony Pouchert. Reimer also threw just his second interception all season.
