Junior receiver will check Eagles out
Once again it looks like another monster year for talent in Florida and as EagleAction.com has already reported, Boston College's coaches are putting in a lot of work in the state.
One of the most recent verbal offers the Eagles have put out there went to Terrence Alls, a 6-foot, 162-pound receiver from Hialeah (Fla.) Dade Christian.
Alls isn't the burner that everyone has been accustomed to seeing from Florida, a state known for the speed it produces, but he's an outstanding possession receiver, runs good routes, and catches almost everything thrown this way.
Boston College isn't the only school to verbally offer Alls thus far.
"I think I got the Boston College offer last week on Friday or around then," Alls explained. "I also have offers from Vanderbilt, Tulane and West Virginia."
Alls hasn't been able to visit any of those schools though earlier this year he did make the relatively short trip over to Gainesville to spend time with the Gators.
While Alls doesn't know much about BC yet he's going to look into the Eagles.
"I've talked to Coach (Ryan) Day but I've only talked to him one time," he said.
"He said that they've seen my highlight film and liked it very much. That was pretty much it so far. It's still kind of early but I do have interest in them."
Will location work against BC?
"I don't think it will affect me that much," he said. "I'll look at any school where I can play."
Alls said he could play receiver or corner in college, though he prefers the offensive side of the ball.
"I haven't decided which schools I'll visit yet but I am looking for the school with the system I like the most on offense."
