Video interview: Wolfpack commit Bra'Lon Cherry

Before last Friday's season-opening win for New Bern (N.C.) High over visiting Durham (N.C.) Hillside, New Bern athlete Bra'Lon Cherry took a few moments to talk with The Wolfpacker.

Cherry verbally committed to NC State June 25 after getting an offer at the Wolfpack's camp. It was during that workout that Cherry, checking in at 5-foot-11.5, 175 pounds, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds.

Cherry caught a pair of passes for 45 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Cherry also returned a kickoff for a would-be touchdown, but it was called back for a penalty, and had a pass breakup from his cornerback position while covering heralded Hillside junior wide out Trevion Thompson.

You can watch our brief interview with Cherry below. A transcript is also provided.
