No rivalry in this friendship
Magic and Bird.
Williams and Dimaggio.
Manning and Brady.
No matter how many times the old adage of 'I' being less important than 'team' can be spun by coaches there is no doubt that sports fans are drawn to one on one battles, often between players that aren't even interacting with one another on the field.
This potential would certainly exist between two of the country's best young running backs, Wichita (Kan.) East star Bryce Brown and David Oku of Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert. Then again with two players of such humble backgrounds and parents who insure humility is kept it's not surprising that the two not only avoid aggression towards one another but instead are budding friends.
