Video highlights: Hunter Furr and Ed Gainey

Last Friday, The Wolfpacker went to see Crest High from Shelby, N.C., play a second round 4-A state playoff game at Winston-Salem's Mt. Tabor High. Crest features NC State linebacker commit Dwayne Maddox.

Mt. Tabor also features talented players. Headlining their senior class is Ed Gainey, a two-way standout who was all-state as a junior when he made 13 interceptions. Gainey was at NC State's season opener against Central Florida, and he was also at the Pack's game at Wake Forest this past weekend. Gainey is likely to be a safety in college.

In the junior class, running back Hunter Furr is sure to get his fair share of attention. He already has an offer from Wake Forest, and Furr has taken unofficial visits to Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia and Wake this fall.
