Gamecocks in the NFL -- Super Bowl edition

Catching up with USC's professional football alumni


Emanuel Cook, S, Baltimore
Had one tackle and recovered a fumble in a 23-20 AFC Championship Game loss to New England. Had seven tackles and recovered a fumble for the season.

Chris Culliver, CB, San Francisco
Had five tackles and defended a pass in a 20-17 overtime NFC Championship Game loss to the New York Giants. Had 44 tackles, eight defended passes and one interception for the season.


John Abraham, DE, Atlanta
Had 39 tackles, 10.5 sacks and four forced fumbles for the season.

Jasper Brinkley, LB, Minnesota
On injured reserve. Did not play this season.

Sheldon Brown, CB, Cleveland
Had 48 tackles, 13 defended passes, two interceptions and a forced fumble for the season.

Garrett Chisolm, OL, Carolina
On practice squad. Did not play this season.

Jared Cook, TE, Tennessee
Had 49 catches for 759 yards and three touchdowns for the season.

Patrick DiMarco, FB, San Diego
On injured reserve. Did not play this season.

Clifton Geathers, DE, Dallas
Played in five games but had no statistics for the season.

Andre Goodman, CB, Denver
Had two tackles in a 45-10 divisional playoff loss to New England. Had 54 tackles, 10 defended passes, two interceptions and one touchdown for the season.

Tori Gurley, WR, Green Bay
On practice squad. Did not play this season.

Lemuel Jeanpierre, OL, Seattle
Played in 16 games with five starts for the season.

Johnathan Joseph, CB, Houston
Had two tackles and three defended passes in a 20-13 divisional playoff loss to Baltimore. Had 52 tackles, 20 defended passes, a forced fumble and five interceptions for the season.

Jarriel King, OL, Seattle
Played in one game this season.

Spencer Lanning, P, Jacksonville
Was signed after the season's end and will be invited to camp next year. Did not play this season.

Cliff Matthews, DE, Atlanta
Did not play this season.

Jamon Meredith, OL, Pittsburgh
Played in four games for the season.

Captain Munnerlyn, CB, Carolina
Had 58 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and five defended passes for the season.

Eric Norwood, DE, Carolina
Had 11 tackles for the season.

Sidney Rice, WR, Seattle
Had 32 catches for 484 yards, one rush for 3 yards and two touchdowns for the season.

Dunta Robinson, CB, Atlanta
Had 52 tackles, 10 defended passes and two interceptions for the season.

Shaun Smith, DT, Tennessee
Had 25 tackles and one sack for the season.

Darian Stewart, S, St. Louis
Had 84 tackles, 11 defended passes, one interception, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one touchdown for the season.

Ryan Succop, PK, Kansas City
Was 24-for-30 on field goals, 20-for-20 on PATs and had a 62.4-yard average on 59 kickoffs for the season.

Travelle Wharton, OL, Carolina
Started 16 games for the season.
