Akeem Cooperwood

What I like: You simply cannot teach size, and Cooperwood is about as big as you could possibly want an offensive tackle to be. He as the weight and strength needed to stymie power rushers, and the long arms to redirect smaller speed rushers in pass protection. In the run game, defenders have a tough time moving Cooperwood, which compromises their gap integrity at the line of scrimmage.
Instant impact? Cooperwood will be given ample opportunities to win a starting tackle spot, but I'm not sure he's developed enough fundamentally to serve as a capable starter. I still believe he will prove to be valuable as a swing-tackle who serves as a backup to both the right and left tackle spots in 2016.
Rivals rating: Based on how Rivals defines their rating system, it’s hard to argue Cooperwood’s rating.
