The Gamecocks finally have their schedule for this season. After the full SEC schedule was released at the end of August, South Carolina didn't waste much time finalizing their non-conference slate for the 2017-18 season.

The Gamecocks released it today and it includes seven home games, including one exhibition Oct. 30 against Erskine and a Big 12/SEC matchup in January against Texas Tech.

“Once again we are excited about the completion of another schedule,” Frank Martin said in a release. “It offers numerous challenges away from home, along with some quality teams in our home slate. The schedule is broken down in a way that it should prepare our team for the schedule of conference games and eventually postseason play.”
They will travel to Puerto Rico to participate in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, facing Illinois State, Boise State or UTEP and then an undetermined team. There's also a trip to New York to play Temple.

The only other away games are visits to Wofford to open the school's new arena, FIU as the second part of a home-and-home and a trip up the road to Clemson.
South Carolina will enter SEC play Dec. 31 against Ole Miss and will have one game televised nationally on CBS Sports, a Feb. 10 Elite 8 rematch against Florida at home.
