For years under Steve Spurrier, it was the uniform that opponents feared most. It was called "Big Game Garnet" back then, and USC is bringing it back. White helmets, garnet jerseys and garnet pants as their combination for the Gamecocks' (6-3, 4-3 SEC) final SEC home game against the Florida Gators (3-5, 3-4 SEC).

The familiar uniform has seen so many big plays in big games. From Ace Sanders' 70-yard punt return vs #5 UGA in 2012 to Jadeveon Clowney's famous hit on Michigan's Vincent Smith in the 2013 Outback Bowl, the uniform has put its mark on the South Carolina program like no other.

Now, the Gamecocks bring it back for Will Muschamp's first home game against his old team, the Florida Gators.

The Gators enter Williams-Brice Stadium (80,250) losing their last four games in SEC play, a skid that saw the departure of Coach Jim McElwain in the middle of the season. Randy Shannon has taken over as interim coach and so far, has produced similar results with the Gators losing handily at Missouri 45-16.

Despite the losing streak and current records, the Gamecocks are currently favored over the Gators by only six points. That may allude to the Gamecocks and Gators recent history. Over the last twelve seasons, the record stands at 7-5 in favor of Florida. Over the last seven years, the Gamecocks hold a 4-3 advantage. With a record that close, the Gamecocks cannot afford to take this game likely.

Saturday's game kicks off at Noon ET and will be televised by CBS, the second consecutive week that the Gamecocks have been televised nationally on the network.
