Paulk is a senior running back who walked onto the team in 2014 after two years at North Greenville. He won the Outstanding Walk-On award after the 2014 spring game, but was not able to compete in the fall due to transfer rules.

Last season, he earned a scholarship and played in all 12 games, primarily on special teams. He registered five tackles and rushed twice for five yards. He's expected to be a force on special teams again as well as provide depth to the backfield.

Fennell is a redshirt freshman whose spring vaulted him into the conversation for playing time this fall. Fennell was listed as a linebacker, and transitioned to defensive line and could play BUCK in the fall.

Former No. 30: Raynard Brown

Brown was one of the running backs on the 1984 Black Magic team, alongside Monday's throwback player Thomas Dendy. Brown rushed for 621 yards in his career and seven touchdowns.

He primarily played on special teams as kick returner, where he totaled 1,421 return yards. He still holds the school record for return average in a season with 31.2 yards per return in 1984. He led the team in return yards from 1984 to 1986. He has the third-longest kick return in history, 99 yards against Florida State in 1984.

Brown was drafted in 10th round by the Lions in the 1987 NFL Draft. He was cut and picked up by San Fransisco and played in one game during the 1987 season.
