Dylan Wonnum gives the latest following Gamecocks' official

Tucker (Ga.) class of 2018 four-star offensive tackle Dylan Wonnum is a man of few words, but he did take the time to provide feedback on his official visit to South Carolina this weekend.

"It went good, I liked everything; I got to see things I didn't get to see on the unofficial visits," Wonnum said. "I liked it. I went more into the education part of it, my major, what they had, and the classes they offer and everything. It was more the education part that stood out. The football part was the same."

Wonnum, who has also taken official visits to Auburn and Tennessee, was hosted on his trip by offensive lineman Sadarius Hutcherson.

He also spent time with his older brother, rising junior D.J. Wonnum, who is a defensive lineman for the Gamecocks.

"He doesn't press me," the younger Wonnum said. "We just hang out and have a good time."

South Carolina offensive line coach Eric Wolford has been recruiting Wonnum as a priority target since he arrived in Columbia last year.

Wonnum says that Wolford's message has remained the same throughout the process.

"They kept it the same," Wonnum said. "The same thing since Day 1."

Wonnum will likely host head coaches from all three schools this week.

"I should commit next week, but if I don't it will be signing day," Wonnum said. "No leaders. All the same [among South Carolina, Auburn and Tennessee]."

What will be the final decision making process?

"That I don't know," he says. "That's something I just have to really sit down and think about. The pros and cons and stuff."
