Brubaker was recruited to South Carolina by offensive line coach Greg Adkins and area recruiter Pete Lembo and chose the Gamecocks over finalists Penn State, Tennessee, Stanford and Vanderbilt.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound prospect took an official visit to South Carolina earlier this month.

"It was a great weekend. The staff was wonderful. There’s plenty of experience there from previous places of how to put together a visit,” Brubaker said at the time. "Jessica Jackson, everyone else who works in the office, does a tremendous job. We enjoyed ourselves. There’s no other way to say other than we enjoyed ourselves and had a great time."

Brubaker is ranked the No. 18 offensive tackle in the 2022 class by Rivals and the No. 153 overall prospect in the class. He's also ranked the No. 5 prospect in Pennsylvania.

Brubaker is the 11th public commitment in the Gamecocks 2022 class.
