Head coach Will Muschamp said before South Carolina's win over Vanderbilt that the freshman was dealing with an ankle injury that limited him in practice and made his status for that game unknown.

Belk ultimately didn't play but Muschamp said he should have been fine for this week's matchup with the Wildcats.

Muschamp said Tuesday Belk practiced with the team but now Belk was not with the team when they arrived at the stadium.

Eldridge Thompson, who left last week's game with a shoulder injury, did not travel with the team as well. He'll miss the first game of his career with injury this week.

South Carolina kicks off against Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.

OrTre Smith, who will have season-ending surgery on his knee next week, did travel. View the full dress list below.
