Defensive end Byron McKnight also went down in the fourth quarter, but walked off the field. Defensive head Ellis Johnson said that nobody told him of any serious injury.
Defensive end Melvin Ingram went down in the third quarter, but returned on the first play of the fourth. He finished with 11 tackles, 4.5 for loss, 3.5 sacks, an interception and two hurries.
PRE-GAME
Left tackle Kyle Nunn was ruled out just before noon with a back problem. He suffered the injury against Navy but played with a brace on against Vanderbilt. The injury was still very painful and although Nunn had an epidural performed late this week, he was ruled out of the game. He did dress but did not play. Steve Spurrier said that Nunn may not be able to play next week either, but wasn't quite sure how it would go.
Safety Brison Williams was medically cleared to play after sitting out the first four games with a broken right forearm. He had two tackles.
Linebacker Damario Jeffery, after spraining his ankle against East Carolina, not playing against Georgia and playing sparingly against Navy, dressed for the game. He played but had no statistics.
Right tackle Cody Gibson dressed for the game after sitting out almost all of preseason camp and the first three games while dealing with a dislocated right kneecap. He is 100 percent and was second-string behind starter Rokevious Watkins. He played in relief of Watkins, who switched to left tackle to replace Mike Matulis.
Cornerback Cadarious Sanders dressed for the game after spraining his knee against Georgia. He dressed but did not play.
OUT THIS WEEK
Tailback Kenny Miles did not dress for the game with a sprained right wrist that has limited him since Georgia. He was listed on the dress list but Spurrier said that was a mistake.
Wide receiver Jason Barnes did not dress for the game after straining his hamstring two weeks ago and missing the Vanderbilt game.
Cornerback Akeem Auguste re-aggravated his foot arch injury against Georgia and did not play against East Carolina, Navy, Vanderbilt or Auburn. A decision on whether or not to redshirt him is expected soon.
OUT FOR THE SEASON
Offensive lineman Brandon Shell will apply for a medical redshirt after playing sparingly against East Carolina and sitting out against Georgia and Navy. Shell had been dealing with a shoulder injury he had in high school and was recovering from surgery in the spring.
Defensive end Gerald Dixon has yet to practice due to a stress fracture in his leg. He is in line for a redshirt.
Running back Shon Carson is redshirting due to a knee injury.
Running back Jacob Baker is recovering from a torn knee ligament.
Safety Marcquis Roberts is redshirting due to a shoulder injury.
