South Carolina men's soccer released its 2021 schedule, head coach Tony Annan announced Wednesday. Carolina is set for 16 regular season matches and two exhibitions under the new direction of Annan as it shepherds in a new era of Gamecock men's soccer.
Including exhibitions, the Gamecocks are set for 12 matches at home and six on the road. Fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch Carolina in action with 14 chances to see the team in the Carolinas.
2021 soccer season tickets are now available. A season ticket includes admission to all twenty home men's and women's soccer games at Stone Stadium this fall. Season tickets start at $25 for adults and $10 for youth, 17 and under. This year, fans can also upgrade their season ticket to include a limited-edition Gamecock soccer scarf for an additional $10. "I am excited to get the new era of South Carolina men's soccer started and am looking forward to continuing the tradition of making Stone Stadium an amazing place to watch entertaining soccer," Annan said. "We have a challenging schedule ahead and we are eager to take on the competition that it will bring."
Annan and South Carolina open the season on Aug. 17 in an exhibition match at Stone Stadium against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. ET. The final exhibition of year is scheduled for Aug. 21 as the Gamecocks travel to Harrisburg, Va., to face James Madison at 12:00 p.m. ET.
A pair of notable matches include the regular season home opener on Aug. 26 at 7:00 p.m. ET against College of Charleston before Carolina hits the road for the first time on Sept. 3 to face off against its in-state rival, Clemson, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Following its rivalry match with the Tigers, South Carolina returns home for four-straight matches starting Sept. 7 against Presbyterian at 7:00 p.m. ET. Conference USA action opens Sept. 11 at 7:00 p.m. against Coastal Carolina at Stone Stadium.
Carolina's final road match of the season takes them to Huntington, W.V., on Oct. 30 to face fellow C-USA foe, Marshall, the defending national champions.
Senior day is set for Nov. 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET against Old Dominion.
