Gamecocks hold steady in poll

South Carolina (30-10, 10-8) held at No. 11 in the Baseball America rankings released today after losing two midweek games to Charleston Southern and The Citadel but taking a road weekend series from Auburn to go 2-3 for the week.

In the Perfect Game USA poll, the Gamecocks are ranked No. 10, down one spot.
Previous Gamecock opponents who are ranked in the Baseball America poll include No. 16 Ole Miss, No. 17 Kentucky, No. 22 Clemson and No. 24 Arkansas.
South Carolina begins a five-game homestand tomorrow night, playing Davidson at 7 p.m. USC plays USC Upstate Wednesday at 7 then hosts No. 8 Alabama for a three-game series beginning Friday at 7 p.m. Both midweek games will be on FOX Sports South, while the second and third game of the Alabama series will be on ESPN.
