Georgia safety likes USC

College Park (Ga.) North Clayton safety Morgan Burnett has quietly accumulated an impressive offer list, and he appears close to adding to that number soon.
"I have offers from Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss and North Carolina," the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Burnett said. "I also think South Carolina and Tennessee are close to offering me."

Burnett, who racked up 100 tackles and five interceptions as a junior, has taken trips to Georgia and Floirda this spring.
"My brother (Cap Burnett) played at Georgia, so I'm pretty familiar with them," Burnett said. "I'm comfortable with their coaches, and I feel at home there. I went to Florida's junior day, and I liked the environment down there. I also liked talking to their coaches."
Burnett, who bench presses 255 pounds, also likes what the South Carolina Gamecocks have to offer.
"I haven't been to South Carolina yet, but I like what I've heard about their environment and their playing style on defense. I also like Steve Spurrier as a coach."
Burnett believes he brings several strengths to the table as a player.
"I have great speed, good field awareness, and I can cover guys," he said. "I think I'm a complete safety, but I'm always trying to get even better."
Burnett will base his decision on two primary factors.
"I want to get a good education, and I want to feel comfortable with the coaches I'm playing for. If I can get those two things, I believe the rest will take care of itself."
For now, no teams stand out to Burnett.
"I am wide open. I don't have a clue on when I'll pick my school yet."
