Griffin Gentry

What I like: Gentry is a strong player who is able to generate a good amount of force right out of his stance. He uses good leverage and understands how to stack and shed blockers with his hands. Gentry is a high-motor player who will pursue runners sideline-to-sideline. Given his size and skill-set, I believe Gentry’s highest ceiling is as a defensive end in Coach Muschamp’s 3-4 front.
Instant impact? Based on my observations, Gentry would benefit from a redshirt season to work on his positional skills and strength & conditioning.
Rivals rating: I would rate Gentry as a 5.5 three-star. He shows some positive tools for coaches to work with and I believe he could develop into a solid player.
