Post-game
The only new injury picked up during the game was to strong safety D.J. Swearinger. He sustained a mild concussion and missed the second half. USC's policy on concussions has generally been to sit players for a week with no questions, then evaluate; it isn't known how serious Swearinger's concussion is.
Linebacker Rodney Paulk appeared to be limping at times but was not listed on the official postgame injury report.
Pre-game
* Fullback Patrick DiMarco (forearm) started at tight end and played a large portion of the game, splitting between fullback and tight end. He had his left arm heavily bandaged and padded to protect the hairline fracture. His totals were one pass for 1 yard and he got hit with a false-start, when he was already 7 yards downfield before the snap.
* Right guard Terrence Campbell (ankle sprain) dressed but did not play, according to the official participation report. Campbell was involved in The Whitney hotel investigation, but was cleared before the game.
* Defensive tackle Byron Jerideau (rib) dressed and played.
