What I like: Banks is quick out of his stance and has the speed to run by defenders on vertical routes. He is dangerous after the catch where again he shows off good speed, quick feet, agility, and vision in traffic. Banks plays bigger than his size would indicate, displaying a toughness over the middle and the ability to win in contested situations. Banks is a big-play machine from the wide receiver position and he could also excel as a returner.

Instant impact? The Gamecocks lacked playmakers at wide receiver in 2015, and I expect Banks to be given opportunities to show what he can do in 2016 by the new staff. I believe Banks would benefit from a redshirt to build some size and fine-tune his route-running, but I would not be surprised if he earned playing time as a true freshman.

Rivals rating: I would rate Banks a 5.7 three-star – a slight bump from his current rating. He seems to have the tools needed to develop into a good receiver and dangerous returner at the next level.
