North Carolina 2020 receiver lands Gamecocks offer, sets visit

Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley class of 2020 wide receiver Michael Wyman landed a South Carolina offer on Thursday and quickly set a visit to the school.

"My first reaction was to be humble and honored," Wyman said. "Everything works through God. I remain humble. I like the South Carolina program. Their offensive side of the ball is impressive. They are strong defensively as well."

Wyman, who visited the school late last year, plans to be back on campus on March 3 for a visit.

Offensive coordinator and receivers coach Bryan McClendon delivered the news of the offer.

"They have strong, fast and skilled receivers," Wyman said. "I like his personality."

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder also has offers from Duke, Florida, North Carolina, Louisville and Virginia.

Rivals.com has not yet ranked the class of 2020.
