South Carolina evened the series with a 3-2 win over Texas A&M in 7 innings.

TJ Shook improved to 3-1 on the season, and Brett Kerry picked up his fifth save.

The Gamecocks scored their 3 runs off of a Luke Berryhill bomb in the bottom of the first inning, and that was all they would need to clinch game 2.

Athletic Trainer Brainard Cooper was also honored for his 35 years of service prior to the game.
