A'ja Wilson brought home more hardware last week when her Las Vegas Aces became the first team in 21 years to win back-to-back WNBA Championships. Wilson won first her WNBA Finals MVP Award. It's Wilson's college/professional teammate Alaina Coates' first professional championship.

Jordan Montgomery and Christian Walker are still alive in the MLB Playoffs, with Montgomery's Rangers punching their ticket to the World Series after winning two on the road in Houston in Game 6 and 7. Walker and the Diamondbacks have a decisive Game 7 in Philadelphia tonight.

In the NFL, one veteran Gamecock found his way back in the league on a NFC South practice squad and another rookie was elevated from a practice squad to a new team's 53-man roster. Six NFL teams were on bye in Week 7 and Deebo Samuel was ruled out with a shoulder injury so it was light week for the Gamecocks in the NFL. Stats and highlights are below.
