Quick-hitters: Gamecocks prepare for spring game

South Carolina worked out Thursday in preparation for Saturday's Garnet and Black spring game. Here are notes from after the practice:

** Will Muschamp said that quarterback Lorenzo Nunez will not play in Saturday's spring game even though the quarterbacks will not be live.

** Muschamp says that the spring game will be offense vs. defense - they won't split the roster up into separate teams.

** Muschamp praised both offensive linemen Donell Stanley and D.J. Park. Stanley may be the team's most improved lineman, according to Muschamp.

** South Carolina practice indoors Thursday because the team hadn't used the facility for a full practice this spring and Muschamp wanted the team to get experience in it.
