Friday quick-hitters:

** Redshirt decisions won't be made until after camp is over, could even be midway through the season. Sometimes you get midway through camp and think a guy is headed for a redshirt but injuries change that.

** Sounds like Muschamp still wants to narrow the quarterback group to two after the scrimmage but the third guy will still rep. With Jake Bentley, it's just about the lack of experience relative to the others.

** Muschamp says don't read a lot into where guys are repping. AJ Turner even works with the third team at times based on rotation.

** Muschamp said McIlwain at QB can change some things with how the offense operates due to his legs.

** They will use the scrimmage to see what the guy knows and how they perform in that situation. He called it a huge "judgment day."

** They will put the ball on the 8-yard line immediately to put the defense under pressure. They will have goal line and red zone situations, simulate halftime, have coaches in the box.

** Muschamp said they have good return guys - mentioned Turner, Deebo Samuel, Jamari Smith, Korey Banks, and some others.

** As far as potentially playing two QBs. If it takes two, it takes two, he said. The coPmpetition has been very healthy.
