-- Mississippi State is a good team. Lost to 3 good teams - Oklahoma State, Auburn & LSU. Lost close game at Auburn.
-- Happy to be in the hunt for SEC East title.
-- MSU is "probably a lot like us."
-- Injuries - Shaw still has a virus & didn't practice Mon. and won't practice on Tuesday.
-- Players had to get Mizzou game out of their system and focus on playing better.
-- Good defense in 4Q at Mizzou. Stopped Tigers and were able to comeback.
-- We still have to play better. We're "hanging onto the edge." Still lot of work to do to become a great team.. Mizzou game "is a very good team." They could beat everybody on their schedule the rest of the way.
-- Center has to stop rolling the ball back to the QB.
-- Kelcy Quarles had a very good game.
-- USC has chance to match the all-time record for longest home winning streak at 15 games. Spurrier says that's pretty neat.
-- Spurrier jokes that Elliott Fry is now being recognized on campus and hopes all the attention doesn't affect him.
-- Mike Davis needs to get a firmer grip on the fb. 2 fumbles inside the 5-yard line.

-- Brandon Wilds practiced on Monday night and could play this Saturday. He has been out since injuring elbow at UCF game. Could see action.
-- MSU defense is close to USC statistically. Big guys inside. Good SEC team. Play more man coverage than Mizzou.
