South Carolina sophomore center Jason Cudd will transfer from the team, Stadium national basketball reporter Jeff Goodman reported on Twitter.

The 7-foot-1, 263-pound center saw action in just five games this season before a knee injury during a January practice cut short his season.

As a freshman last season, Cudd played in 23 games, averaging 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per game.

Cudd is a graduate of Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
