Rivers commits
South Carolina is off to a big start for the 2015 recruiting class and already and the class only got better on Saturday.
Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson end Chauncey Rivers pledged to USC while on campus for an unofficial visit.

The 6-foot-2, 238-pounder has a double digit offer list going into his junior season, but knew that South Carolina was the place for him.
"I decided to end it because I really have a great relationship with coach (Lorenzo) Ward," he said. "I really like the program and how they're talking about education. I like how they treat their players and how they're family. I've been thinking about this for a while."
While in Columbia, the Peach State product got a chance to check out some of the facilities he will use as a student athlete.
"I took a tour around the weight room, the athletic facilities, the locker room," he said. "I got to see everything. It's a great place to be."
Ward entered the weekend with pledges from Arden Key and Dexter Neal from the state of Georgia; he also played a big role in Rivers' decision.
"He's a great person. He's always honest. He tells you the truth and I really wanted to hear what he had to tell me. I think it was a great commit because we have a great relationship."
USC's defensive style under Ward was another contributing factor to the early verbal commitment.
"I love the way they coach the d-line, I love their whole defense overall."
Rivers is on South Carolina's board as a defensive end, and he believes that he will offer several positive attributes to the program.
"I bring speed, I bring strength, everything possible. I just want to be a leader," he said. "Some of my goals, I want to have 25 sacks and lead my team to a state championship."
Rivers also held offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, NC State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Virginia, among others.
