Gamecocks commit Ryan Hilinski scores five touchdowns in last-second win

South Carolina quarterback commit Ryan Hilinski continues to put up huge numbers this season.

The Orange (Calif.) Lutheran standout threw four touchdowns and added another on the ground as his team edged Santa Margarita 39-37 on a field goal as time expired.

Hilinski finished with 358 yards through the air and now has 20 touchdown passes on the season.

His team trailing 37-36 with 1:54 to go in the game, Hilinski orchestrated a game-winning drive down to the 10-yard-line to set up the field goal.

Hilinski, ranked the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the 2019 class, committed to South Carolina in April and since has spent countless time recruiting others to join him in Columbia.

Hilinski will graduate in December and enroll at South Carolina in January.
