Gamecocks RB commit Mecose Todd goes beast mode, lands on SportsCenter

South Carolina class of 2020 running back commit Mecose Todd is gaining new fame after producing one of the best runs you'll ever see in a high school football game Friday.

The three-star prospect from Villa Rica (Ga.) went through, around and over the entire Paulding County defense in a 90-yard touchdown that was eventually featured on Top 10 plays on ESPN's SportsCenter.

Villa Rica went on to win the game 28-3.

Todd was South Carolina's first commit in the 2020 class back in February when he pledged to running backs coach Bobby Bentley over Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Iowa State, Memphis, Tennessee, Southern Cal and Virginia Tech.
