Wilds commits to USC

Blythewood (SC) RB Brandon Wilds has given South Carolina their fourteenth verbal commitment of the 2011 recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 217-pounder chose South Carolina over East Carolina, Illinois, and Maryland.
The Palmetto State native told GamecockCentral.com after the Showcase Camp in Columbia in July that he "probably" already knew where he wanted to go but took a visit to Illinois last week to get a closer look at the Illini program.
Wilds was recruited to South Carolina by defensive line coach Brad Lawing with assistance from running backs coach Jay Graham.
