Music star and South Carolina alumnus Darius Rucker- 24-20 Gamecocks

South Carolina all-time winningest quarterback Connor Shaw - Ranked UGA team coming to Williams Brice...seen this script before! 28-24 cocks 🤙

Former Gamecock baseball All-American and current Red Sox starter Jackie Bradley Jr. - Will be a great test early in the season for the Gamecock squad. Have to keep the faith and support strong. Score prediction: 23-21 GAMECOCKS WIN 🤙🏾

Richland County investigator and Live PD star Kevin Lawrence - 21-19 Carolina over Georgia for the upset of the week! Carolina’s defense will keep us in the game and seal the deal in the 2nd half.

Former South Carolina basketball star and NBA standout Alex English - I think it's going to be whose defense can stop the other's offense. I think Deebo Samuel will separate USC's Offense and Gamecocks will win by 7.

Former South Carolina and current Rams wide receiver Pharoh Cooper - One of the Most competitive games of the season! Willy-B needs to be the loudest they ever been. 28-24 Gamecocks!!!

Former South Carolina and current Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger - Gamecocks win 27-24

Former South Carolina and current Celtics point guard P.J. Dozier - 33-26 Gamecocks

Former South Carolina and NFL wide receiver Sidney Rice - 22-20 Gamecocks

Music star and South Carolina alumnus Patrick Davis - 27-24 Gamecocks

Former South Carolina and current Tennessee Titans kicker Ryan Succop - Gamecocks win 27-24 on a late field goal of course! Going to be a great game, can’t wait to cheer on our boys!

Former South Carolina golfers George and Wesley Bryan - Bryan Bros Golf - Bryan: 34-31 Gamecocks! We have a talented group of guys who are playing with confidence. That’s a dangerous combo especially with us playing at Williams Brice. Let’s go!! Wesley: 24-21. Go Cocks!!

Former Gamecock consensus All-American and former professional wrestler Del "The Patriot" Wilkes - Cocks 34 Bulldogs 31

Former South Carolina and NFL offensive linemen Travelle Wharton - I just believe in my Gamecocks!! These young men have worked hard all summer. You can see their growth. USC has a fantastic quarterback, good running backs, great wide receivers, a Nasty defense, Great coaching staff, & plus they play in the front of the best FANS in college football! 31-21 USC!!!

Former South Carolina baseball pitcher Tyler Johnson - South Carolina versus Georgia is one of the most intense rivalries in the nation. I remember when UGA came to SC in 2014. Williams-Brice was one of the most electric atmospheres I have been a part of. It always seems USC plays Georgia well in Willy-B and for that reason I have the Gamecocks winning 24-17 Saturday!

Former South Carolina quarterback and current Hammond head coach Erik Kimrey - The poise Jake Bentley displayed last week will carry over to the national stage and the Gamecocks’ offense will exploit Georgia’s young defense. Our defense continues its pattern of opportunistic play and forces enough stops for the Gamecocks to get the win. The difference: Williams Brice Stadium! South Carolina 34 Georgia 27

Former South Carolina and current PGA golfer Kyle Thompson - Gamecocks offense fires on all cylinders and the crowd noise will be too much for the Georgia Dawgs!! Cocks win 31-27

Former South Carolina quarterback Perry Orth - For South Carolina to win, first and foremost we have to take away the Georgia run game. We have to force turnovers. And Jake is going to need to play exceptionally well. That being said, I think we do all of those things. Carolina 27 Georgia 24

Designer/freelance illustrator and USC alumnus Kevin Roche - Georgia week is always special, and I've been looking forward to this one since I walked out of Sanford Satdium to end the last one. Everyone knows the circumstances: week 2, at home, maybe a chance to get to the new batch of 5-stars early before they settle in and start making themselves truly comfortable, fixing plates in house slippers, etc. Carolina has the skill position players to actually compete, not just keep it close and hope something miraculous happens late like the 2017 game plan seemed to be. Based off last week's extremely competent offensive performance (yes, I know it was only Coastal), it looks to have the aggressiveness and play calling to go with them. I had real tears in my eyes watching Zack Bailey and Donell Stanley get out and pull on the Ty'son Williams walk-in. I get chocked up when I try to describe the screen call to Rico to end a two minute drill performance that took place in half the time.

Not expecting the same level of execution from the OL this week, but substantially better than the last couple years, during which Georgia has outgained USC on the ground like 567- never mind I can't finish that stat without becoming physically ill. Can Carolina do enough on the ground to keep Georgia at least somewhat honest? Can the defensive line slow down the run game to the point where we don't automatically move to the next set of downs when we see a 3rd and 5 on the big board? Tall tasks for sure, but lets get weird. If Rico and Tyson can get to 140 plus, and some form of Belk/Kobe Smith/Enagbare/Sandidge can help give clog support to Kinlaw in the middle allowing Keir Thomas to use more of his speed from an end spot instead of going up against the inside 320s (I don't know if that's even in the gameplan, I'm just spitballing), I can see a path. Its blurry and I may need stronger contacts, but it's there. All summer whenever asked, I said 9-3 with a potential for a little more if things break right. Week 2, while figured originally in the 3 column, was one of those things. It may be wishful thinking, but it feels a little 2012ish. And I'm not about to end my first GamecockCentral Prediction Write Up and not pick the home team: A more relaxed Bentley just plays, Shi continues to catch everything including some big 3rd and longs, some timely turnovers including a Keisean Nixon pick, and Williams-Brice is an electric factory from 3:30 until close. Georgia, feel free to fumble a couple times. Cocks 38, Dawgs 34.
