One of South Carolina's best hitters of the last decade is heading back to The Show.

According to MLB Roster Moves, the Arizona Diamondbacks recalled the slugging infielder, bringing him back up to the major-league club after he played just two games in Triple-A Reno.

Walker made the D-Backs' 40-man roster this spring, and spent the first two games of the season in Reno where hit hit .250 in eight at-bats with four RBI.

“We just felt like it would be nice to have the right-handed bat off the bench,” Torey Lovullo told AZCentral.com, “and he’s been hitting the ball and doing his job ever since he came over so we felt like he would be the right guy to come up here.”

Walker made Arizona's playoff roster last season, getting to be in the dugout for the Wildcard and Divisional rounds of the 2018 playoffs.

In 39 major-league at-bats, Walker's hitting .179 with three home runs. Last season in Triple-A he hit .309 with 32 home runs and 114 RBI en route to the Pacific Coast League MVP award.
