The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder also collected offers from FSU, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Pitt, Tennessee and UCF.
A Rivals250 member, Floyd is ranked the No. 238 overall prospect and No. 16 safety in the 2022 class by Rivals. He's also the No. 23 overall prospect in Georgia for his class.
Floyd is the 14th public commitment to the Gamecocks' class. He's also the ninth public pledge since June 20 and fifth this week.
