South Carolina has landed a commitment from Irmo (South Carolina) native Ronald Jamison.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is currently enrolled in junior college at Highland Community College in Kansas. He participated in South Carolina's final camp date of the summer on Friday.

"I just like how coach Muschamp is a really straight forward guy, says what's he thinks," Jamison told GamecockCentral.com. "I love the campus. With me living about 10 minutes from it, I've seen a lot already but I still love it. The facilities are awesome, especially the new stuff they have coming in. It just feels like an great environment."

While in Columbia, Jamison posted testing times of 39 inches in the vertical leap, 4.47 in the 40 yard dash, and a 4.0 second short shuttle.
