South Carolina senior guard Sindarius Thornwell was selected with the No. 48 overall pick by the Milwaukee Bucks -- then was reportedly traded to the L.A. Clippers -- in the second round of the NBA Draft Thursday night.
The 6-foot-5, 212-pounder from Lancaster, S.C. was named the SEC Player of the Year when he averaged 21.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game as a senior.
Thornwell is third all-time in scoring at South Carolina with 1,941 points.
