Sterling still focused on two

Fresh off an official visit to South Carolina, Tucker (Ga.) four-star defensive lineman Aaron Sterling says South Carolina and Tennessee are still tied at the top heading into his 10 a.m. National Signing Day announcement.

"I've still got to pray about it, still thinking. Everything will be signing day," Sterling said Sunday. "After sitting down with my mom and talking to my dad -- I'm going to get their opinion -- I’ll just get that feeling, and really just ask God which school is the best."

Sterling, ranked the No. 14 defensive tackle in the country by Rivals.com, got an in-depth look at how he would be used by the Carolina coaches.

"They want to treat me like Dominique Easley and play that three-technique,” Sterling said. “Anything on the defensive line, because Dominique Easley really players everywhere -- defensive end, defensive tackle, outside linebacker - really everything."

Despite not naming a leader, Sterling had positive feedback on the Carolina visit.

"The visit was awesome," Sterling said. "I got to see more in detail everything, got to talk to the players and see their prospects and see their opinions on everything. The visit was very good."
