Madison (Miss.) Madison Central defensive lineman Cortez Myles is one of the top prospects in the Magnolia State's class of 2007, and he currently has seven impressive offers on the table.

"My scholarship offers are from Auburn, South Carolina, Florida State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Memphis," the 6-foot-3, 255-pound Myles said. "The schools that have offered me are the ones I'm looking at the hardest."
Two SEC teams are currently the schools to beat for Myles services.
"Auburn and South Carolina are my top two schools," he said. "Auburn is going to be running some 3-4, and they are talking about using me some as a stand up linebacker. I like everything about Auburn really. With South Carolina, I love coach Steve Spurrier, and I talk to coach (Robert) Gillespie a good bit. I want to go there this summer to check them out."
Ole Miss and Mississippi State are both under strong consideration as well.
"I like how coach (Sylvester) Croom is building up Mississippi State's program. At Ole Miss, I've talked to coach (Ed) Orgeron and coach (Tony) Hughes some, and they're both good guys."
Myles, who bench presses 335 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds, will base his decision on a small number of factors.
"I want to find a defense that fits my game, and I want to go to a college where I can make an impact. I just want to make a difference somewhere. Auburn is where I'm leaning, and then South Carolina is right behind them. I'll commit sometime during my season."
