Ball has summer plans mapped out
Jackson (Ga.) defensive end Neland Ball was one of the top performers at the Athens NIKE Camp earlier this spring, and he has seen his offer list increase dramatically since then.
"Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, and Kentucky have all offered me now," the 6-foot-5, 216-pound Ball said. "I have Tennessee, Ohio State and LSU on my list."

Ball, who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds and turned in 25 reps of 185 pounds on the bench press during the testing phase at the NIKE Camp, plans to camp at Auburn and Georgia, two teams high on his list.
"Auburn and Georgia are a lot alike to me," he said. "Both of them have great campuses, strong academics, great coaching staffs and good tradition. I don't think I could go wrong with either of those."
Ball, who also plans to camp at Tennessee, could make a trip to the Palmetto State this summer or during the season.
"I want to go to a game at South Carolina because I don't know as much about them as some of the other schools yet. I also like Clemson. They have a nice campus and a good coaching staff and a good football tradition."
Ball knows what he's looking for in a school.
"Location is important to me, and so is my chance to play early. Academics will also play a role in my decision. Plus, I want to know I'm going to be able to win wherever I go."
Three schools currently stand out the most to Ball.
"I'd go with Auburn, Georgia and Georgia Tech as of today. I'm still looking at committing after my senior season is over with."
