BREAKING: Starting receiver out against ECU

Sophomore receiver Deebo Samuel is not dressed for South Carolina's game against ECU.

Samuel has battled a hamstring injury since arriving on South Carolina's campus and reaggravated the injury on the first play of last week's game against Mississippi State. Though he eventually returned to the game, he was visibly slower and was considered questionable coming into today's game.

Through two games, Samuel caught four passes for 66 yards and scored the team's first touchdown of the season on an 8 yard scamper against Vanderbilt.

It's unclear who will replace Samuel in the lineup, but sophomore Terry Googer and junior Jamari Smith could see extended action against the Pirates.
