Milford (PA) Delaware Valley OL Brandon Clemons is a talented two-way lineman with offers from several major programs. In the midst of preparations for his senior season, he caught up with GamecockCentral.com to give the latest on his recruiting.

"School starts Monday and camp is going on right now," the Rivals250 member said. "It's going good."
Because he's focused on his season, the four-star prospect is taking recruiting slowly. Though the 6-foot-4, 255-pounder was not able to name a top group of schools, he was asked about some of the schools that have offered him and what he liked about each one:
Pittsburgh: "They have like a city mixed in with the campus. I really like them actually. They were the first ones to offer me. I've been down there like three times and I stay in touch with them."
Rutgers: "They're close and Coach (Greg) Schiano has been doing great things in that program. I've met a few of their players; it's a good school. I know it's a great program and great campus."
Michigan State: I haven't been down there, but I read the stuff I get through mail and I talk to my recruiting coach, Coach (Dave) Warner. I want to get down there but I don't know if I will take an official or an unofficial."
South Carolina: "It's the furthest one and an SEC school. I was actually really impressed. The campus is great and I got a chance to talk to coach (Steve) Spurrier. He was really nice. Being down south, it's (football) like a religion."
South Carolina is the only school in the Southeast that Clemons is considering. Does the distance Columbia matter to him?
"I wasn't sure of that when we went down there, and I really don't know if it still does," he said. "The plane ride was only about an hour, but I haven't experienced the drive down there yet."
The Pennsylvania native has not yet cut down his list, but is hopeful that the upcoming contact period may give him more clarity.
"I haven't really done anything college-wise," he said. "I know when September rolls around, everything is going to pick up. I've been so caught up in my own team that I haven't actually had the time to cut it down. I'm sure once things start rolling with school, I'll be able to do it."
