Two of South Carolina's top targets will celebrate Independence Day by announcing their commitments today.

Former Santee (S.C.) Lake Marion standout Jabari Ellis, now a JUCO prospect at Georgia Military College, will announce between South Carolina and N.C. State at 10 a.m. this morning.

Later today, Melbourne (Fla.) Central Catholic three-star running back Lavonte Valentine will announce his decision on Twitter at 4 p.m. Valentine, one of the fastest prospects in the country, will choose from finalists South Carolina, LSU, Notre Dame and Louisville.

Ellis is also ranked a three-star prospect and is considered one of the top JUCO defensive tackles in the country.

"By far one of the hardest decisions of my life," Ellis told GamecockCentral.com last week. "Both are in need of D-Linemen and both are great programs. I feel I can accomplish my goals at both schools, so it's really going to come down to who I feel the most comfortable with."
