LaGrange (Georgia) running back Mon Denson made his first visit to South Carolina on Saturday for the Gamecock Showcase camp.
It took only three days for the 5-foot-10, 215-pounder to make his pledge to play for the Gamecocks at the next level.
Denson, ranked by Rivals.com as a high three-star prospect, drew scholarship offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, North Carolina, NC State, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and numerous others during the recruiting process.
For the Gamecock staff, special teams coordinator Joe Robinson and running backs coach Everette Sands recruited the Peach State product to South Carolina.
