Rico Dowdle didn't hear name called in the NFL Draft, but that doesn't mean he's not getting a shot in the league.
Dowdle tweeted a few minutes after the draft ended he's heading to Dallas on a free agent deal.

No other Gamecocks are currently with the Cowboys and the last Gamecock to get drafted by Dallas was Darren Hambrick in 1998.
Dowdle had an oft-injured career but was insanely productive when he was healthy. He finished his career rushing for 2,167 yards and 16 touchdowns on 428 carries, averaging 5.1 yards for his career.

He's part of Will Muschamp's first recruiting class at South Carolina, a class that has proven to be really good with four guys getting drafted and more set to sign free agent deals.
